Substitution (Create)

Substitution ciphers are those types where individual characters of the plain text are replaced by another character and retain their original relative positions. Descriptions of each cipher and examples are included on the sub-pages.

The colored outline around a box indicates if the option is required or not.
  • Red border - Mandatory. These are used to enter the plaintext and keys.
  • Blue border - Used to display the ciphertext.
